Molecular Weight: 198.26
Molecular Formula: C13H14N2
Appearance: White or light yellow flaked solids
Purity: 99%
Features and Function
- MDA is the main monomer in the production of polyurethane and diisocyanate. The most outstanding performance of this kind of resin is high temperature resistance, and has good insulation, high strength, good wear resistance and chemical stability. Can be made into film, molding products, wire paint, etc. Used for aircraft and rocket heat resistant cable insulation inside and outside layer, transformer insulation between layers, motor liner, etc.
- MDA is an important chemical intermediate, mainly used in the production of diisocyanate, such as MDA, HMDI, can also be widely used in the preparation of high-grade insulating materials, such as: bihorse resin, polyimide (PI), polyester imide (PEI), insulating paint materials, etc.
- MDA can also be used as chain extender of polyurethane elastomer and curing agent of epoxy resin.
