Stability: It’s unstable to heat. Stable aqueous solution between pH 4.5-8.0 is bright sky blue, when PH < 4.2, the solution will precipitate, and strong alkali can make it decolorized.

Solubility: Easily soluble in water,  Insoluble in oil
